Internet marketers are always on the lookout for quick ways to pass on information to their niche market. After all, the internet is a marketplace for information. A great way to do this can be to purchase PLR (private label rights) or MRR (master resale rights). Firstly, however, it's important to know the difference between these two types of licensed content so you can decide which is best for you. You need to make that choice, and make it based on what you're going to need your content for. If you wish to sell a product, then chances are you'll wish to get the master resell rights, as they will be adequate for your purposes. MRR though, will normally not give you the option to alter the content. If you wish to make changes that personalize the content to your business or even add your own links, then you would definitely want to go with PLR content. The biggest difference with the way that PLR and MRR files are delivered is the fact that PLR has a file that can be edited such as a .doc. the PLR eBooks can also be split up into different articles, and articles can be put together to form an eBook if you so desire. The master Resell rights might give you the option to name yourself as the author but that's about it. The things that you can do with the content is very limited, and to get details on all of the limitations you will have to check out the license, as it will no doubt have a lot of things that you don't like. When it comes to choosing between PLR and MRR products, it comes down to what you want to use it for. If you plan to distribute an eBook so that it goes viral and generates traffic to your website, then the best option is PLR. MRR licenses tend to be a lot more restrictive in how they can be distributed, priced and altered. But, if the MRR license permits you to utilize the content freely, then it's a great way to promote your business. Nevertheless, if you want the most choice in how you can use your content, go with PLR. Another good reason to choose PLR is that it is usually cheaper than MRR. Private Label Rights products offer a quick and easy way to get content for eBooks, articles, websites etc. Even though another person did the work, you get to say it's yours and use it as you will. That's a pretty great deal! More information: Wendy Wood runs MomPLReBooks, a PLR membership site catering to the mom niche. Give PLR a try, download a free PLR package here.
