How do you honestly make money in online marketing, what do I have to do in order to get the best results? It is easy to become dumbfounded in online advertising, with other internet marketers saying one thing or another is the right way to earn. But what do you really need in order to started for better results? The first thing you need to do is to stop listening to what everyone else is telling you, and relax for a minute.. Now you need to ask yourself, out of all those amazing idea's, how many have you tried? Then ask yourself how many of those have actually made you money? How often do you send email's to your list, daily? Are you just promoting the same product over and over? For people who have been doing this over 1 year: How responsive is your list? What is your SERP? For every dollar you spend on advertising what do you get back? Are you making enough online to quit your day job? Now this is just a short list of questions, there are a lot more, but this should have your wheels turning. To improve on these things you need to look at how well you are executing the basics Do you think you are allotting enough time everyday to the important parts of your internet business. And how much time do you spend chasing your tail or the latest super hot technique. Just so you know, most of the "new" programs and services that you read about online everyday, are nothing more than fluffed up stuff of the things that really work. If your online business is not where you thought it would be by now, then you need to take a step back and figure out why, and then take the appropriate steps to change what you are doing and devote time to do what really works. So how do you know how best to prioritize your time? Do what the professionals do and keep a diary. People have been using this for the past 2000 years and it has been proven to work and to make sure that you get done what needs to be done everyday. Sounds simple right, but are you willing to just do it? You need to set time aside everyday to improve on something that needs improvement, whether it is setting up new email's to be sent out in your auto responder so you are promoting more than 1 product, or better email's to get people to take another look at your product again. Have you website really leave an impression on your visitors, submit at least 1 article a day to as many article directories you can find, join and be active in forums and blogs that directly relate to your products. Now all of these basic things will make you money. Now that you are making money simply because you got back to the basics of internet marketing, you can begin adding new ways of advertising and see if they improve your traffic and sales. Ask yourself do these new techniques suit your style, your products, your mind set, then try them. If you write down your goals in your journal you will also need to write down what actions you need to take to reach your goals, once this is done you can concentrate on improving and growing your own online business, instead of reading more email's that promise you that you will get rich when you buy there program. These steps may seem very boring and irritating at first but once you start making money using these simple steps you will begin to find this work enjoyable and this will carry you on to the next level of internet marketing.
