How many times have we heard someone blurt out "Well, it's my way or the highway! Take it or leave it!"?

Way too many times if you ask me. Our world and way of being and thinking seems to be based on ultimatums. Since we were kids we were given ultimatums by our parents, so it's a learned behavior that we can get rid of if we want to.

Why should we change when something is so important to us? Having an inflated ego is comfortable and we lead our lives around the fact that we think no one is as smart as us. The truth is that the people in society are our customers and it would be in our best interest to listen to what is being said in order to have a thriving Internet Marketing business that is going to be around for the distance.

More than 50% of executives failed a study about decisions in a 19 year research project done by Ohio University's Fischer College of Business professor Dr. Paul Nutt. The executives failed because none of them wanted to see or admit that there were other choices for their own ideas.

How depressing is that? People with an entrepreneurial mindset think that percentage is scary. No one likes to be wrong more than 50 percent of the time. Give up your dreams of being an entrepreneur and look for and job if you do.

By listening to prospective and current customers and are willing to take actions on some of the suggestions, when you build a rapport with them and listen to what society is demanding, you will win in the long run.

Mistakes are inevitable, that is how you learn and grown, but it is not personal so there is no reason to let an ego get in the way. Let your entrepreneurial spirit shine! You business adventures will become bigger and better once you learn, grow and move past any mistakes you make along the way.

Get rid of the attitude of my way or the highway! There is no room in the entrepreneurial mindset for this.
